same complaint as others have made it seems. they call, hang up and i try to call back and can only get a busy signal. I dont know whom they are or why they are calling.

Received call while at work so it wasn't answered.

Received a similar call stating that he needed a court document notarized. Provided a case#, but I haven't been able to find any cases with the number he gave in my state's court records. I also filed bankruptcy as well as had my house foreclosed. All debts except for some small medical bills should have been covered under one of those actions.

I have had several calls placed to my phone saying they are from financial crimes investigation. they have harrassed me for several weeks. what a scam.

"account services" initially a recording tells you that you only have a few weeks before your opportunity to lower your credit card interest rates expires. You can press 9 for more information, I did, a woman came on and when I said it sounded interesting, what company was she with, she hung up...poor sucker has to earn a living lying for some likely abusive boss who is a thief. I am buying a very unpleasant tool that when I blow it into the phone, will burst an ear drum. I plan to use it from now on with telemarketers...they deserve it. I am on the do not call registry so they will have to sue their bosses for their loss of hearing. If more of us did this...they would stop.

The above number continues to leave threatening messages on my voice mail. Such as, if you listen 3 seconds longer, we will assume you agree that you owe this debt. But you have to listen to the entire message to make any sense out of it. It is a collection agengy, I believe she left a name of Cathy Martins, but she mumbles over her name so you cannot quite tell. She is looking for someone who has never lived in our home. She is calling 3 to 4 times a day. How can we get her to stop?
